Cherry Shivers

SHIVERS, Cherry, age 67, of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. Born in Quincy, Florida, Cherry spent nearly 20 years working in the mental health field. After which, she was a dedicated homemaker raising her children. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. Cherry is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mattie (Malone) and her husband, Charlie Shivers, Jr. She is survived by her children, Donnell Shivers (Amber) of Pennsauken, NJ, Candace Shivers of Webster, MA, and Charlie Shivers III (Jessica) of Dayton; siblings, Jerrie Moore, Dr. Sharon Patterson; grandchildren, Demetrius, Sierra, Charlie IV, Anastasia and Catrina; great grandchild, Demetrius Jr.; nephews, James Caver, Emanuel, Kenneth, Anthony and Harry Green; niece, Mary Green; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Interment St. Matthew’s Cemetery, West Seneca, NY.
