Charles T. Ray

RAY, Charles T., age 77, of Huber Heights, Ohio, born December 19, 1940 in Summerlee, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. Charles and his family moved to Dayton, Ohio in April 1995. He was a very proud 22 year veteran, serving in the Special Forces. He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Joe Hamm; mother and stepfather, Willie and Priscilla Carter; two brothers, Hillard Hamm and Larry Carter; three sisters, Mary Cleveland, Eunice Peak and Clotelle King. Mr. Ray leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Gwendolyn Ray; a daughter, Felicia; special daughter in love, Kymberlee; two sons, Jonathan and Jason; special son-in-law, Scott; two sisters, Sally and Patricia; two brothers, James and Louis; six sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law; eight grandchildren, one great grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 10 am until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery
