Blenda Odom

Blenda Odom, age 71, of Dayton, Ohio, born November 29, 1947 in Cordele, Georgia, departed this life May 30, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Willie Mae Odom; brother, David Odom. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Tavis Odom of Dayton, and Sean Barker of Los Angeles, CA, and daughter, Cogena Odom Wright of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Dexter Hunt and Otis Odom; sisters, Deborah Odom and Tannize Odom, of Dayton; 24 grandchildren, and many, many great grandchildren; special nephew, Willie Childs, and special niece, Quiada Odom; longtime friend, Carol Henderson of Charlotte, NC; four uncles of Dayton, and three aunts. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, June 10, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9 am at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
