Barbara Ann Sanders

SANDERS, Barbara Ann “Jean”, age 61, born in Dayton to the late Preston Sr. and Etrueal Harper Sanders, departed this life April 24, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Barbara was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1974. She worked for Good Samaritan and Miami Valley hospitals for 40 years. Preceded in death by brothers, Preston Jr., James and Ernest. She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Isabella Anderson and Drucilla Ingram, both of Dayton, Ella McKinney of California; brothers, William (Reola) Saunders of Radcliff, KY, Bobby (Jona) Saunders of Las Vegas, NV, George (Edith) Sanders of California; sisters-in-law, Priscilla Saunders, Judith Sanders; aunt, Ernestine Vance; special nephews & nieces, Jay V., Jerome, Jae, Isaiah and Indiya Ingram; other nieces & nephews, Danita, Deborah, Jacqueline, Tracey, Denise, Justina, Amelia, Patricia, Aaron, Christopher, Debra, Crystal, Tiffany; special friends, Robin, Paula, Mary, Patricia, Cheryl, Dale; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Larry Wright officiating. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm.
