Ashtene Danee' Rembert

REMBERT, Ashtene Danee’, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Ashtene was born May 22, 1986 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the second of three children. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 2005 in Dayton, Ohio. After completing high school, she continued her education at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.

If you knew Ashtene, you’d know she had a huge heart for everyone whom she encountered. She was known to give her last. She was a huge Mickey Mouse fan, enjoyed cheering, dancing and just having a great time with family and friends. Her comeback jokes were the best and her smile was one in a million. She loved to watch YouTube videos and her special television shows, ‘Dance Moms’, and ‘Bring It’. Ashtene had started to blog about her weight loss journey which she became very passionate about.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Billy Anne Goddard; maternal grandfather, William E. Brown Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Adrian and Theresa Rembert; sisters, Ta’Neshia D. Rembert and Te’Auna D. Rembert; grandparents, Mary A. (Grady) Elder; aunts, Stephanie Goddard, Traci (Ivan) Ward, Lisa Goddard-Ballard (Clifford), Stephanie Woods, Linda Rembert, Elaine Butler; uncles, William E. Brown III (Carmen), Ivan Ward; a host of cousins who were more like brother and sisters; best friend, Courtney Brooks, and Godson, Kenneth Brooks.

We will always remember Ashtene as a young lady who would light up a room and that she loved her family.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, April 19, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Tyrone Bonner officiating. Visitation 10 am Friday at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery.
