Annie J. Sawyer

SAWYER, Evangelist Annie J., 88, of Dayton, born August 4, 1928 in Wedowee, AL to Sol and Sarah Smedley Johnson, passed away July 28, 2017. Annie was the youngest of eight children. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings and one grandson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Esther Sawyer, Timothy Sawyer, Mychael (Charlene) Sawyer and Charles D. (Freddie) Crocheron; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, August 4, 2017 at Mt. Carmel M. B. Church, 5370 Dayton-Liberty Rd., Rev. Dr. Chad White, Pastor. Pastor Sandra Bryant, eulogist, Pastor Larry D. Coleman officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
