Lillian White, age 97, born July 16, 1926, in Tuskegee, Alabama. Lillian was called home to be with the Lord on Friday March 15, 2024.
Lillian lived a long and fruitful life. She enjoyed watching her family grow over decades. She dearly missed her husband, affectionately known as “Junior,” every day after his passing. She was a member of the Rockhill Baptist Church before her illness and resided at Maria Joseph Nursing Home in her last few years.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, John White; her mother, Bertha Edwards; father, John Simmons; her only son, Samuel Williams; grandson, Michael Williams; ten brothers and sisters.
She leaves to mourn her passing daughter-in-law, Beverly Williams; granddaughter, Deandra Williams-Lewis; grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Logan Williams-Moore and Langston Lewis; a host of nieces and nephews including Jackie (Harvey) Boddie of Richmond, CA, and Stanley (Jeanette) Fletcher of Atlanta, GA, with whom she shared a special bond.
Graveside service 10 am Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third Street, Dayton, OH. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
