Zella M. Scott

SCOTT, Zella M., age 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at home. She was born January 25, 1934 in Lynch, KY to the late Paul and Lucille Carr. Zella worked for Grandview Hospital and the Dayton Mental Health Center from which she retired after over 35 years of service. She was a former member of the Eastern Kentucky Social Club (EKSC), Dayton Chapter. She was a faithful member of Peoples Community C.M.E. Church for over 50 years.

Zella is survived by her children, Sheila Mixon, Paula, Darrell (Dinah) and Christina Scott; grandchildren, Brian Scott (Carmen), Jermaine, Tasha and Eric Scott; brother, David Carr; 11 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 11 am Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Peoples Community C.M.E. Church, 2525 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Ian Gibson, officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens.
