To the Harden Family,
I can't begin to express my deep sadness on the passing of Willie Joe Harden. Joe and I attended Roosevelt High School, played football together, worked at the Dayton Speedway on weekends to earn spending money, hung out together and enjoyed a close and enduring friendship for years. While we did not see each other often, with the passage of time, Joe knew that I was only a phone call away for what ever he needed. He was not only a friend, I considered him my brother.

Thank you for the acknowledgement of my Dad, I surely remember stories he'd tell about the Speedway, his childhood and teenhood.
