Willie Joe Harden

HARDEN, Willie Joe “Sled”, age 78, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at the VA Hospice. Graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1957. Retiree of Liberal Markets and Summit Towing. Survivors include his daughter, Shalonda Harden; sons, Charles (Martha) and Alfred Lee (Sylvia) Harden; devoted ex-wife, Barbara Hooper; adopted daughter, Angela (Todd) Pierce; brothers, Isaac, Charles, James; sisters, Annabelle, Carrie, Nancy; 10 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 10 am Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Minister James L. Harden officiating. Visitation 8:30-10 am. Family will receive friends 9-10 am. Interment 10 am Monday, June 5, 2017 at Dayton National Cemetery.
