Scharmaine Niccole Lynne Abernathy

Scharmaine Niccole Lynne Abernathy (Burns) was born November 4, 1969. She graduated from Belmont High School, Class of 1990 and received her Bachelors of Science from Wright State University, Class of 2012. Scharmaine became an ordained Minister in 2006. She was actively pursuing her Master's degree from Strayer University. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Burns & Dianna Lynne Lander; beloved grandparents, Stella J. & Morris Burns and Anne-Ruth & Thomas Lander; loving uncles, Morris Burns, Ricky & Gregory Lander; devoted aunts, Darlene Stephens, Connie Hailey & Clara 'Mickey' Boone. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving & devoted daughter, Hope S. Maston and future grand-child, Toni-Niccole; ex-husband, Willie Abernathy; sisters, Robyn Sellers, LaVonne Robinson, Edjuana (James) Page and Krystal (Michael) Abu Rayyan; brothers, Roderick Lander and Todd Richardson; God-sisters, Ronaldlynne Jones and Micheala (Glenn) Moore; special friends, Kimbely Shirley and Jada Smiley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family & friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at New Life in Christ Community Church, 17 Whitmore St. Visitation 9 am Tuesday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
