Robert Lee Sibert, Sr.

SIBERT, Sr., Robert Lee, 85, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at home, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Greenwood County, South Carolina to the late Walter and Ida Sibert. He was a faithful member of St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Robert Jr. (Bessie); brother, James (Roberta); sisters, Ella Gamble, Emma Bennett, and Ida Clark; three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Service 11 am Monday, October 23, 2017 at St. Timothy M. B. Church, 4466 Free Pike. Rev. Alonzo Looney officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
