Robert C. Schooler

SCHOOLER, Mr. Robert C., age 74, born February 27, 1943 in Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his residence. He graduated from Dunbar High School, Class of 1961, was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and worked for Dayton Tire & Rubber, later furthering his education to work as a lawyer for the City of Dayton Housing Authority where he retired. Preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Allen H. and Annie L. Schooler; ex-wife, Lynne (Swanigan) Schooler; four brothers and six sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sheafra K. Schooler Hammett; sister, Margaret Schooler; brother, Daniel G. Schooler; sisters-in-law, Helen and Annie L. Schooler; all of his loving nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Funeral service 11 am Monday, May 15, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
