Rickey L. Coleman

COLEMAN, Rickey L., 59, born August 26, 1957 in Dayton to the late Dewey and Julia Coleman, completed his earthly mission Saturday, March 18, 2017. He graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Class of 1975. He served our country in the United States Army and was employed at the V. A. Rickey was a member of Garden of Faith COGIC. Preceded in death by his sister, Anna Laura Coleman; uncle, John Liggins. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Kim Marshall-Coleman; daughter, Andrea N. Brentley (David S. Brentley Jr); grandchildren, Makayla Gabrielle, David III and Zion Anna-Rickay Brentley; sister, Toni Coleman; brothers, Sid and Donald (Linda) Coleman; step children, Henry Rayford, Kim DeBrill (Jeffrey), Kierra Rayford, Shannon & Latrice Scott; aunt, Thomasina Liggins; sister/cousin, Crystal Brantley; a host of nieces, nephews, 20 step grandchildren, cousins, family and friends. Funeral service 1 pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Gary Leigh officiating. Visitation 9 am-1 pm. Interment 11 am Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Dayton National Cemetery.
