Pinklee Pugh

PUGH, Pinklee, age 97, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital. A native of Frankville, Alabama and a resident of Dayton a number of years. She served as the Pastor of Pugh’s Temple Apostolic Faith Church for many years. Preceding her in death, her husband, Bishop Major Pugh; beloved daughter, Lee Helen Johnson; granddaughter, Parkie Hunt; parents, 3 sisters & 2 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Mary Knight; son, Jerry Wayne (Betty) Pugh; devoted nephew, Julius Watkins; 2 devoted nieces, Dorothy Figgers, Therthenia (Jerry) Lewis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Mt. Zion AOH Church of God, 12 College St. Bishop John H. Mathews Pastor. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave.
