Ocie M. Boffman

BOFFMAN, Ocie M., age 82, of Trotwood, OH, was graced with the All Mighty Monday, October 9, 2017 at Wilson Hospital in Sidney, Ohio, after a long illness. She was a native of Eastman, GA and a resident of Dayton, OH for over 55 years. She was a faithful member of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Deaconess, Choir Member, Kitchen Chairperson and Calendar Clerk.

Preceded in death by her parents, Otis Sr. and Precious Carson; step-mother, Annie Nora Carson; brothers, Theophilus Carson, Lamar Carson, Otis Carson, Jr. and Clarence Lampkin; sisters, Sally Mobley Lynch, Aretha Lampkin and Marie Wilcox; aunt, Ocie Montgomery; nephew, Rev. William E. Jones; cousin, Annis Willene Faison. She is survived by "the love of her life" of 60 years, William; daughter, Sherri of Dayton; son, Douglas (Nicole) and grandchildren, Nicolas, Nolan and Natalya, all of Lancaster, CA; brothers, Cordell Lampkin of New York, NY and Jewell Carson (Laura) of Hawkinsville, GA; Goddaughter, Crystal Brantley of Columbus, OH; a host of other relatives and friends including her Revelation Church family.

Service will be held 11 am Monday, October 16, 2017 at Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 1496 Swinger Drive. Pastor John W. Jackson, Sr. officiating. Visitation 9 am until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.
