Mary L. Hickland

HICKLAND, Mary L., age 92, of Merrick, NY, born December 21, 1924 in Lexington, Kentucky, passed away September 4, 2017. She graduated from Lexington Dunbar High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Gibbs; husband, George Hickland. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Edward (Ella) Hickland of Merrick, NY, Larry Hickland, Winchester, KY, Richard (Oretha) Lewis; grandchildren, Kenneth (Fabienne) Hickland, Marilyn Hickland, Nneka (Patrick) Smith, Kyra Harley; eight great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 10 am Monday, September 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace, 220 W. Siebenthaler Ave. Calling hour 9:30 am at which time family will receive friends.
