Luther Eugene Jones

JONES, Luther Eugene, age 54, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Born July 23, 1963 in Shreveport, LA and a resident of Dayton the majority of his life. He was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church. Preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Jean Ellis; father, Luther Harris; brother, Robert Earl Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Luther Jr. (Amanda), Deonte and Travoris Jones; daughters, Traniecia Jones, Antonna Webb, T’ana Brown; brother, Johnny (Katherine) Jones; sisters, Valerie (Harrison) Fields, Josie, Mary and Gerry Jones; special brothers-in-law, Brent Jett, Tony Hurston; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery.
