Jerry W. Newell

NEWELL, Jerry W., 67, of Dayton, OH, born in Jellico, TN August 14, 1949, Wayne made his transition Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Loved ones who preceded him were parents, Homer and Mary Newell, and brother, Donald Newell. His loss will be deeply felt by longtime companion, Sandra Cooke; daughters, Karisha (Allen) Williams of Atlanta, GA, and Shannon Newell; son, Stephen Newell; grandsons, Ty Richardson and Tyron Newell; sisters, Aletha Boggs, Anita Wilkerson, Linda Newell, and brother, Eugene Newell, and many extended family and friends. Funeral service 1 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm. Special thanks to MVH Vascular and Heart Center.
