HAYES, Janice M., age 67, a lifelong resident of Dayton, born September 25, 1950 to the late Burl H. & Johnnie Mae Hayes. She departed this life Sunday, March 25, 2018 at her residence. An employee of Walnut Creek Nursing Center for the past 24 years. Preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Sr. & David Hayes; sister, Mary Beatty. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ronda (Scott) Copeland, Ra’Shawn Hayes & Kimberly Hayes; grandchildren, Shawn Hayes, Ay’Auntay Hayes, Daryl Robinson, Jr., Lauryn Stewart, Denvre Hayes, Mar’kese Gamblin; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Rosetta Williams; brother, Donald Hayes; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Minister Raleigh Thornton, Jr. officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
