Ida Bell Wright

WRIGHT, Ida Bell (Smith), age 86, of Dayton, passed away October 24, 2017. Born March 20, 1931, the only child of Jessie Mae Evans and Buster Smith. She grew up in Birmingham, AL where she was a long-time member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Willie Wright; aunts, Beatrice Boston and Katie Ruth. 

She leaves behind a host of cousins, especially Julia Cooper with whom she shared a continuous bond; tremendous friends and church family at Macedonia Baptist Church. I want to thank everyone that prayed for Ida during her sickness, and a special thanks to Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Terri of her apartment community at Enon Plaza. God Bless! Tammie Cooper and Family.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Macedonia M.B. Church, 27 N. Gettysburg Ave. Dr. Jamison Hunter officiating. Visitation 10 am until time of service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
