Howard Anthony Reese

REESE, Howard Anthony “Tony”, born November 17, 1961, departed this world November 20, 2017. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1980. After graduating, he received some training in mechanics where his passion for being under the hood of a car began. He became a self-made mechanic, working at several repair shops and garages throughout the city. If you had problems with your car, everyone knew to take it to Tony. Tony loved his family very much. He was always around to help out any way he could. He loved his wife to the end and he cherished his mother. Tony had a good heart. He was a kind and loving man and would fill a room with laughter wherever he would go. He was a very loyal friend. He maintained his childhood friendships throughout his life and he leaves many to mourn his passing.

Preceded in death by his father, Howard L. Reese; brother, Steven Scott Reese.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Priscilla Reese; mother, Patricia Reese; sons, Antonio Brian Moore, Steven Scott and Ebony Reese; daughters, Sonya Beans, LaQuanna Williams, Latricia and Patricia Harrell; sisters, Bonita and Barbara Reese, Cynthia (Charles) Hopkins, Vanessa Dean, Kirsten Williams; aunt, Barbara Cummings; very close first cousin, Terri Cummings; special cousins, Sharon Cummings, Derrick Pinson and Terri Henderson; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Min. Raleigh Thornton Jr. officiating. Visitation 9-11 am. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
