Donald Roy Dansby

DANSBY, Donald Roy, born May 5, 1939 in Dayton, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017. Donald attended Roosevelt High School until his 12^th year and received his GED before joining the U. S. Marine Corps. He retired from General Motors after 33 years. Preceded in death by his mother & father, Anna (McGinnis) Cook, Jessie Dansby; stepparents, Elsie Dansby, Carl Cook Sr.; wives, Dorothy P. Dansby, Ellen Dansby; sister, Patricia Winn; son-in-law, Donald Britton. He leaves to mourn, his children, Donna Seege, Dolores (Kevin) Ulmer, Deborah (Dwayne) Williams, DeShawn (Donita) and Dion (Syeda) Dansby; siblings, Carol, Carl Cook Jr. “Butchie”, Charlene, Diane; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other close family and dear friends. Funeral service 10 am Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Jimmy Mann officiating. Visitation 9 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH.
