David Larry Williams, Jr.

 WILLIAMS, Jr., David Larry “Chief”, age 95, of Trotwood, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was former Principal of Dunbar and Colonel White High Schools, and McFarland Middle School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps and a member of Bethel Baptist Church for 61 years where he served as a Deacon. He was also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, and the Masons. Preceded in death by his parents, David L. Sr. and Scottie Williams; wife, Mildred Williams; 5 siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, David L. Williams III; grandchildren, Nicole, Angela, DaVondra; great grandchildren, Jaslyn, Trichelle, Dazzmine; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 12 noon Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church, 401 S. Paul Laurence Dunbar St. Visitation 10 am-12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am-12 pm. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paul L. Dunbar High School Alumni Association.
