David "Tony" Allen

ALLEN, David “Tony”, age 68, of Dayton, slept peacefully away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton after battling with cancer. A graduate of Dunbar High School, class of 1967. He attended Central State University two years. A member of Mt. Calvary M.B. Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Ruby Allen; sisters, Annie Roy (Thomas), Annette (Thad), Mary Jean (Sugg), Alice and Virginia “Jill”. Survived by two daughters, Antionette Jackson, Dana (Iran) Johnson; sister, Ronaldlene Starks; 3 grandchildren, Isaiah, Daniel & Victoria Johnson; devoted nephew, Thomas Maddox; special niece, Faith Watson; dearest, devoted friend, Donna Jean Buxton; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many, many special friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Mt. Calvary M.B. Church, 3375 Pastor Samuel N. Winston, Sr. Way. Pastor Samuel N. Winston, Jr. officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation 9 am Tuesday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
