Anna Louise Hayes

HAYES, Anna Louise “Peggy”, of Dayton, passed away February 11, 2017 at her home. She was born November 4, 1920 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Walter and Lydia King. She retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after 41 years. Peggy enjoyed bowling, writing poetry, and most of all, spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Willie B. Hayes; grandchild, Yvonne “Yoni” Hayes; nephew, Richard Whetsel. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, James Dean (fiancée: Therese Hughes) Brown, Nondis (Ernest ) Wright and Peggy Terry; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 10 am-1 pm. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm.
